Once again I wish to say thank you to Rolf Gehrke. And now - lets start:
(From an e-Mail):
"Hallo,
after heavy fights with cameras, scanners , pcs (I
don´t have notion of PCs), I have the pictures for you. Please improve
my english, I think I have used several wrong terms (words?)
The following pictures are my knowledge about them,
I´m sure for (roundabout) 95%, if you know more (or better):
let us discuss. If you do not understand some words (or sentences)
of my beautyful school - english: ask. Here we go.
1] R 25 :
external wire, little bulb, red glass (cat eye?) diameter
47mm

2] R25/2 (1951):
Internal (?) wire, same diameter, metal body a little
bit higher,
other bulb ( In german called " Soffitte " )
Again R25 & R25-2 (1951)

3] R 25/2 (since 1952)
:
new law: cat eye minimum 20 sqcm (cm x cm) so: glass diameter 51 mm,
body a little bit higher (why? Same soffitte)

I have taken here a side car light, but it is the same as the light for
the cycle
(except the clear plastic for the light for the identification plate (?)

4] R25/3 :
second soffitte (first time brake light),nearly same body (except the
brake glass)

second picture R25/2 - R25/3 (view from above)

5] R25/3 & R26 :

A view from beneath: on the left side: R26; on the right side: R25/3 -
rear light.
Differences: another bulb (bilux, the same as for the R27, can light),
a little reflector, no alloy ring, another (very thick) glass, other body
R 26 the first have the same as the 25/3, most have Nr.5, the last have
the same as R27.

6] R27 :

from that can light you have wonderful photos Twins: the same as for the
singles, when they were built. (1952 larger diameter, 53 brakelight, 55
too, end 55 (or beginning 56{?}: nr.5 and so on). Here all together:

here a bad detail photo of the glasses and alloy rings:

This is the thick R26 - glass. "
